Investiture Feast

Their Excellencies and Nexellencies have entrusted me with the honor of the Barony Beyond the Mountain, renowned far and wide for her cooks and feasts. Whatever your dietary restrictions, may you not leave hungry. The gluten-containing elements are obvious, and premade off-site, with alternatives available. On the table:
Bread (gf available)
Herbed cheese served a la spangia (farmer’s cheese with garlic, thyme, parsley, & savory, served in a bread crock)
A variety of pickles

First Course:
Spring Salat (mixed greens with an olive oil & balsamic dressing)
Greene Hens (chicken with garlic, onion, cilantro)
Braised Mushrooms (mushrooms marinated and braised in wine, garlic, and vegetable broth)
Hirchones (beef/pork meatballs [eggs, powdre fort] with almond slivers)
Lentils (green lentils with lemon, parsley, and thyme)

Second Course:
Mustard Soup (veg broth, milk, eggs, mustard, rice flour)
Buttered Pease (green peas and butter)
Roast Pig with a Pudding (pork loin stuffed with ground pork, raisins, pine nuts, powdre forte, onion)
Spinach Pasties (puff pastry filled with spinach, feta, and dill, GF alternative available)

Blanch Poree (rice, almond milk, honey, powdre douce)
Shortbread (gf flour, butter, sugar, cardamom)
Shattered Glass (sugar, rosewater)
