Cotehardie in Progress

At long last we are to my final post on this journey. I have tried so many things I have never done before during this project. I am so glad I decided to do this and truly push myself way outside my comfort zone. I know that I will be continuing to work on these skills so that I can improve on them in the future. Thank you to my Judges who have given me such kind and constructive comments though out this contest.

I drafted my own pattern for this. I used navy blue wool, dark gray med weight linen and linen thread to make the cotehardie. I has gone well so far. Tonight and tomorrow night I will be trying to finish the buttons and button holes. This is the first time I am trying to make mown buttons. after a couple of tries that didn’t come out very good I think I finally have it going well.

    Dear Eleanor,
This is looking really lovely. I have bad news. My modem is dying and I have to have it fixed since I have no wireless and cannot do my remote teaching. The repair person is coming tomorrow. I will have to bow out as your judge. I am really sorry. I was enjoying your updates and really looking forward to seeing the finished product.
