Nothing to report today, more draping, more handsewing. There appears to have been a postal snafu and a package is 3 weeks over due, so I may need to institute an emergency plan.

Draping and waiting

I’ve been draping a fitted gown pattern and doing more hand-sewing. The unfortunate hang-up of the shipping delay means that I don’t actually know where a really important component is, so we’ll guess we’ll see.

I was hoping to have a better update, but delivery on a vital item has been delayed. The handsewing continues apace. At the very least, I have a functional pattern for hosen now, so that’s nice.

Nothing much to report, I am working on hand sewing some hosen. I went with red wool flannel because I have the material available, and because it seems to be a very popular color historically.
